Why did “Jailbreak” do so well? Well, it’s free to play, but players need to spend money on new vehicles or other accouterments. Since the game is fun, 60,000 people started playing it the day it launched. You can see how the potential for substantial monetary gain blossomed from how Alex and his friends used the Roblox code.

According to Alex, the game would eventually “…top 150,000 concurrent players.” That means 150,000 people would be playing the game at the same time. If each player spent only a dollar a day on new in-game items, that would be $1.5 million every ten days. They don’t really spend at that level, but it’s easy to see how Alex and his friends could profit as they did from their Roblox code-based creation.
